Micah Nelson

Micah is from Gary, Indiana hometown of Michael Jackson but now live in Garner, NC. Has been singing since the he was 4 years old at his Grandfathers church. From the seventh to his senior year MIcah attended Emerson visual and performing arts school. Micah competed and won many local and state talent shows. Micah has had contract offers from Motown records, Sony records, Biv 10 records, Sean Jean Combs. MIcah has performed at the Navy Pier, The Grand Olé Opera House, WGN 9 the Stellar Music Awards and was nominated for “Best Performance at the Stellar Awards”. Over 200 concerts and venues. He performed as an opening act for ice cube, the temptations, and Patti LaBelle just to name a few, featured in “Pure Payton” NFL’s hall of fame Chicago bear Walter Payton’s highlight film. He performed the National Anthem for the President of the United States Barak Obama. Micah has written composed and produced over 300 songs and music tracks as well as recorded with over 20 recording artists from rap to gospel. Micah is well versed in many genres like r&b, pop, rock, hip hop, trap, rap, edm, house blues, jazz, gospel. Micah has life experience has been interesting so far, from being recruited by WestPoint Military Academy to full athletic scholarship offers (basketball, football and tennis) from gang affiliation/drugs to volunteering and performing in “stop the violence” campaigns in Chicago and in the Indiana prisons and juvenile centers for over 10 years. From single parenting to being homeless. From receiving phone calls from P Diddy to being on call on the railroad working as a locomotive engineer. The one thing that has be consistent is Micah’s love and devotion to his craft Music. Micah has a passion for people and wants to share his experience as well as relate to others experiences. He is driven and determined to share his music, gifts and talents with the world.
